Carbonation Test Bomb
The filling of the bomb can be carried out by either the prepressurisation and snift procedure or the counter pressure and gravity fill procedure. The bomb has a product volume of approximately 200 mls The bomb has a restricted fill device to prevent flooding of the bomb during filling. Manual draining of a small amount of product prior to snifting and testing is therefore not required. For testing Beer a 250 kPA pressure gauge is recommended while for higher carbonation products such as soft drinks and wines a 400 kPa pressure gauge is recommended. The purchase of an extra pressure gauge is also recommended. Carbonation gauges are subject to a considerable amount of mechanical abuse as a consequence the gauges require regular checking and calibration. An extra gauge means that one can be away getting tested while the other is in use. To Purchase a Carbonation Bomb contact MOLAB. |
